... looks like he's everything Antwon Mitchell was pretending to be: a community-oriented guy trying to make things better. And after another viewing tonight, it seems that Pezuela is just as plugged in to the Mexican gangs as Mitchell was with his One-Niners. The only difference is, Pezuela's not [at least I don't THINK] the ByzLat boss.

But he's definitely privy to their inner circles of communication, as evidenced by his knowledge of the circumstances surrounding The Incident and his graphic description of his candidate's response: "Rather than stand up to his attackers like a man, he takes a dick in his mouth."

Someone on TV Squad's message board posted a comment asking if Latinos are really this petty when it comes to being gay, etc., etc. I don't know for sure, but I know several guys from Mexico, and if you crack a gay joke around them, they laugh, but they make sure you know they AIN'T gay.

Anyway, I stand by my assertion that Pezuela is being set up as next season's big villain, and Mackey, Wyms and Aceveda can all unite in busting his ass, since I suspect things are going to get heated on the streets AND at city hall. Either that or they're going to pinch him in the last episode of the season on Tuesday.

Also, I'm sticking by my guess that the Armenians are going to chop off Hiatt's feet, mistaking him for just another member of Vick's team. Assuming Shane goes down in the Armenian bloodbath that's gotta be on the way (there's no way Cletus makes it through to next season, just no way... I'm having trouble believing that everyone's been so civil thus far), that means next year's Strike Team is Vic, Ronnie and Julien. A fourth?

Call me crazy, but I have a strange sense it could be the Dutchman. This shizzle with Billings has gotta be comin' to a head on Tuesday as well. Either Dutch is gonna go crazy and kill Billings (please let it be strangulation, just like the cat... that would be so great), or they're gonna go at it for Round Two of the S4 brawl. Either way, Dutch and Billings won't be partners next season. Either he's gonna be adrift, or the Dutchman may have to join up with Vic and the gang. That would make for some interesting possibility.

Season finale, here I come...
